Benang dan Buku.. dalam memori :)

Alhamdulillah.. hari ni barang yang ditunggu telahpun sampai… Terima kasih kepada kawan FB saya.. Jenny for the yarns! Really  love them all 🙂 especially the Nako Saten.. Alhamdulillah sangat2..  Last time, I was hoping to buy some Saten Nako from a friend in Turkey, but unfortunately she couldn’t find them perhaps because of the seasons. So I changed to the Nako Bebe 100  instead. But yet, lucky me, Jenny feel happy to swap with me yay! So insyaAllah by tomorrow, will post hers too!

Benang yang kuning itu benang baby, yang sebelahnya benang acrylic 100% but really feel like saten 🙂 next to it is a nako baby yarn also, named lollipop 🙂 and the smallest one is cotton, from Italy. syukur pada Allah.. really feel happy to know many friends that into yarns.. and because of this, I get chances to try out different yarns. Thanks to all friends in YLM 🙂

Ah.. however, lately.. I am not feeling very well to spend time either with knitting or crochet. Somehow, it feels like my old hobby is coming back to me 😛 apa tu? Yep.. reading novels..

Saya mula minat membaca sewaktu berada di darjah 5.. terima kasih di atas seorang kawan yang selalu membawa buku ke kelas.. especially during recess.. she always lend me the books and said there is no regret if i spend time reading them. Alhamdulillah.. somehow, i got addicted with books since then.. and with my parents support.. I really love to buy books and read them all.. even I remember once, when I was 12 years old, my uncle gave me one whole big box contains only books @_@ yeap.. i was so happy that time! And mostly those books are kinda “sastera”.. thats when I knew about “penulisan sastera”. Because I was really really interested in reading novels, I started to write my own story too 😛 hahaha what a memory! I joined some competition during high schools, and even won second place for my cerpen, still remember the title, which the title of my cerpen was “Dendam”.

Still remember the title too.. Entahlah.. mana sudah novel tu rasanya dah kena makan anai-anai 🙁 but yet, I still remember the story very clear xD Even until now.. when I meet Lou and we talked about it.. hahaha we always laugh to each other thinking about the silly story she made up just to entertain me 🙂

My bestfriend, Lou.. she asked me to keep under my desk… hah since it is just a book.. perhaps my teacher won’t bothered much.. yaaaa however, unfortunately.. cikgu saya itu rupanya sungguh teliti orangnya dan setiap muka surat buku saya dibeleknya satu persatu sehinggalah terjumpa cerita pendek saya yang saya karang bersama dengan Lou.. Allah Allah… besarnya mata cikgu saya masa tu.. hahaha.. he got shocked to see I wrote a love story… 🙂 kagum betul saya! Thanks a lot my dear bestfriend.. will never forget such sweet memory :)) haha teringat pula.. sebelum ke bilik guru besar, pesan cikgu-cikgu lain.. lain kali jangan tulis cerita cinta kat sekolah 😛

:)) really excited! Can’t wait to start..

Found reviews about these books rcently, that they are really nice and very good novels.. so I decided to start back my hobby again with these 3 books.. Hopefully, it is like how I expected.. insyaAllah

Ahh.. sorry for the long writing! Thank you so much for hopping by! May Allah swt bless us all. Happy knitting and crocheting 🙂

Knitting Hat Tutorial with 2 straight Needles by Da'Knit

1 pasang jarum kait dua (1 pair of knitting needles) saiz 4.5mm

1 buku benang Magic Baby 100gm

1 batang jarum crochet (crochet hook) saiz 3.5mm

Gunting

Pattern:

Stockinette Stitch ( Asas yang perlu diketahui adalah Cast On, Knit, Purl dan Bind Off)

Ribbing ( 2 x 2 RIBBING = *KNiT 2 kali, PURL 2 Kali* ulang dari * ke * )

K2TOG , Knit 2 together (KNiT 2 sts sekali kaitan)

KNIT SIDE (right side)

PURL SIDE (wrong side)

Langkah-langkah:

1. Cast On menggunakan Long Tail Cast On sebanyak 72 sts.

Seperti gambar di atas, pastikan setelah membuat cast on, buat 2 x 2 RIBBING sebanyak 10 baris.

ULANG ROW 1- ROW 2 sehingga 10 KALI.

2. Setelah selesai RIBBING, pada baris seterusnya .. kait KNiT sehingga habis baris pada KNiT SIDE. Kemudian, pada baris seterusnya, kait PURL sehingga habis baris pada PURL SIDE. Maksudnya, sebaris KNiT, sebaris PURL.

Maka, setiap 18 sts, kita letakkan Stitch Markers.

KNiT 2 TOGETHER pada 2 sts terakhir sebelum STiTCH MARKERS.

3. Seterusnya, pada RIGHT SIDE, lakukan DECREASE (k2tog) pada setiap SEBELUM Stitch Markers.

4. PADA SETIAP WRONG SIDE, kait PURL seperti biasa tanpa decrease.

Dah siap BIND OFF…

YAY! Anda berjaya mengait topi 😀

Thanks to my hubby for willingly to be my hat model 😛
