Body:
Next Row *Right Side* : Knit till end.

Repeat steps above for 3 times more. (You will have 8 rows for ribbing 2 x 2)
Bind Off all sts in ribbing manner. Next, fold the workpiece together where the purl side is facing you and knit side is folded inside. By using crochet hook, seam each side by joining the last sts from each side together. This will produce a neat seamed. When done seam, bring out the knit side and fold purl side back inside. Material:
3.50 mm crochet hook
NAKO BABY LUKS MINNOS
or any DK yarns/10 ply
(Yarns available at www.daknit.com for purchase)
Accesories:
4 x Buttons of your choice
Scissor to cut
Sewing needle and thread to sew buttons
Abbreviations:
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet
Dc2tog = double crochet 2 together to decrease
Ss = slip stitch
Hdc = half double crochet
Size: 0 – 3 months old
NOTE:
1. Always slip stitch on first chain of chain 3/chain 2/chain 1.
2. Marker is necessary if you need to mark your start.
TIPS:
Using this yarn, I started with chain 13 for 0-3 months old. If you need to make a bigger size, below is the numbers of chain that I always use if i need to make bigger size. Here is my guide:
for 0-3 months old, chain 13/14
for 3-6 months old, chain 15/16
for 6-12 months old, chain 17/20
My booties are very easy to follow. Most of the increase are done on first chain and last chain. So if you are making for bigger size than 0-3, just follow the way how I crochet for 0-3 months old without need to change the way I increase and decrease my sole. For example, my sole increase is as follow:
chain 13, 2 dc in same st (here you will get 3 sts in same stitch), ~~~~~~ , 6dc in last ch, ~~~~~ before slip stitch, make 3dc in same st again and slip stitch.
Here, i make 6——6 increase of the sole. Then 12 —– 12. Then 1 1 1 1 8 1 1 1 1 ———- 1 1 1 1 8 1 1 1 1 (this will make sense once you start making one 🙂 )
Well.. hope you can understand! ^-^
Now.. let’s stop talking and start doing!
Instructions:
Sole
Round 1: Ch 13, 2dc in 4th ch. dc in next 8 sts, 6 dc in last sts. Don’t turn, continue making Dc in next 8 sts, 3dc in next sts, slip stitch.
Round 2: Ch3, dc in same st, 2dc in next 2 sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next 6 sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next 3 sts, ss.
Round 3: Ch3, dc in same sts, 2dc in next sts, dc in next 16 sts, 2dc in next 4 sts, dc in next 16 sts, 2dc in next 2 sts, ss.
Round 4: Ch 3, dc in every sts till end, ss. (47 sts + chain 3 as total)
Shaping
Round 5: Ch3, dc in next 13 sts, dc2tog in next sts for 10 times, dc in next 14 sts, ss.
Round 6: Ch2, hdc in every sts till end, ss.
Round 7: Ch1, sc in every sts till end, ss.
Repeat Round 1 – 7 for second pair.
Cut yarn and weave it off.
Accessories ( I call it Piece) x make 2:
Round 1: Ch13, Dc in 4th ch, dc in next 8 sts, 3dc in last sts, do not turn, continue making dc in next 9 sts, ss.
Round 2: Ch3, 2dc in next sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next 3 sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in last sts, ss.
Tie, cut yarn and weave it off.
Now you have 2 Piece with you, using the button, attach the buttons on both side of the Piece and sew it together on front part of booties (Refer picture below).
Sewing time!
Do for both pair. Tidy up and done! 🙂
Now.. let’s make more! Alhamdulillah.. I hope you enjoy making <3

Kawaii Ruffle Dress
Blocking! it becomes more softer after washed . This is why I love Nako Hosgeldin!
NOTE: I made for my daughter. Made the measurement. Did it with correct gauge. Somehow I did not check the gauge after washed and it turns out 1 inch wider than the original size. That, will be in my mind next time!
Still.. i’m very satisfied with my new design 😀 will write down the pattern as soon as possible. I have the draft and will edit soon.
