Material:
3.50 mm crochet hook
NAKO BABY LUKS MINNOS
or any DK yarns/10 ply
(Yarns available at www.daknit.com for purchase)

Accesories:
4 x Buttons of your choice
Scissor to cut
Sewing needle and thread to sew buttons

Abbreviations:
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet
Dc2tog = double crochet 2 together to decrease
Ss = slip stitch
Hdc = half double crochet

Size: 0 – 3 months old

NOTE:
1. Always slip stitch on first chain of chain 3/chain 2/chain 1.
2. Marker is necessary if you need to mark your start.

TIPS:

Using this yarn, I started with chain 13 for 0-3 months old. If you need to make a bigger size, below is the numbers of chain that I always use if i need to make bigger size. Here is my guide:
for 0-3 months old, chain 13/14
for 3-6 months old, chain 15/16
for 6-12 months old, chain 17/20

My booties are very easy to follow. Most of the increase are done on first chain and last chain. So if you are making for bigger size than 0-3, just follow the way how I crochet for 0-3 months old without need to change the way I increase  and decrease my sole. For example, my sole increase is as follow:

chain 13, 2 dc in same st (here you will get 3 sts in same stitch), ~~~~~~ , 6dc in last ch, ~~~~~ before slip stitch, make 3dc in same st again and slip stitch.

Here, i make 6——6 increase of the sole. Then 12 —– 12. Then 1 1 1 1 8 1 1 1 1 ———- 1 1 1 1 8 1 1 1 1 (this will make sense once you start making one 🙂 )

Well.. hope you can understand! ^-^

Now.. let’s stop talking and start doing!

Instructions:
Sole

Round 1:  Ch 13, 2dc in 4th ch. dc in next 8 sts, 6 dc in last sts. Don’t turn, continue making Dc in next 8 sts, 3dc in next sts, slip stitch.

Round 2: Ch3, dc in same st, 2dc in next 2 sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next 6 sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next 3 sts, ss.

Round 3: Ch3, dc in same sts, 2dc in next sts, dc in next 16 sts, 2dc in next 4 sts, dc in next 16 sts, 2dc in next 2 sts, ss.

Round 4: Ch 3, dc in every sts till end, ss. (47 sts + chain 3 as total)

Shaping

Round 5: Ch3, dc in next 13 sts, dc2tog in next sts for 10 times, dc in next 14 sts, ss.

Round 6: Ch2, hdc in every sts till end, ss.

Round 7: Ch1, sc in every sts till end, ss.

Repeat Round 1 – 7 for second pair.

Cut yarn and weave it off.

Accessories ( I call it Piece) x make 2:
Round 1: Ch13, Dc in 4th ch, dc in next 8 sts, 3dc in last sts, do not turn, continue making dc in next 9 sts, ss.

Round 2: Ch3, 2dc in next sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next 3 sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in last sts, ss.

Tie, cut yarn and weave it off.

Now you have 2 Piece with you, using the button, attach the buttons on both side of the Piece and sew it together on front part of booties (Refer picture below).

IMG_20140314_181945 IMG_20140314_182014Sewing time!

Do for both pair. Tidy up and done! 🙂

Now.. let’s make more!  Alhamdulillah.. I hope you enjoy making <3

7 January 2013 – :) Buku dan benang..

Assalamualaikum.. selamat malam, apa khabar semua?

Benang lagi!

Kebanyakkan benang-benang import USA adalah benang Made in Turkey 😉

Made in Turkey, and yes, I love Turkish Yarns so much <3 You should have a try too 😉

Alhamdulillah.. selesai menulis blog hari ni.. mata saya pun dah tertutup separuh.. esok nak kerja.. jadi elok tidur awal sikit 🙂

Oh ya.. sebelum saya mengundur diri.. agak terkejut melihat visitor hari ini.

wahh.. siapakah gerangan yang sudi melawat Da’Knit sehingga 2365 visits? hihihi.. Bot google kot 😛
Oklah..
Selamat malam semua.. semoga malam ni anda bermimpi yang indah, insyaAllah..
Apa-apa pun, thank you so much for dropping by…

May Allah swt bless us all..amin.

I just hope and pray that no matter what will happen, Allah swt will always give us the strength to face everything that will come all the way. May all our faith and iman get strong day by day. And may Allah swt protect us from sins. Amin amin amin ya rabbal’alamin…

Hihi.. sorry guys.. 🙂

Well.. before I end my writing, here is a nice pattern that i would like to share with you all!

Sooo.. hope you all enjoy this pattern 😀 for more.. please visit www.justcrochet.com ok 😉 Trust me! She designed so many cute dress 😀

Selamun aleykum ve thank you for hopping by!

May Allah swt bless us all.

Simple thing always lovely!

Lately, I’ve been playing with hooks more than my needles.. I guess, I just got addicted with the way how fast you can finish one project with crochet.. Knitting is always my favourite however, it’s not fair to leave out crochet as a hobby too. So I’ve been surfing around, gathering more crochet patterns to put into my collections, and then, I found this very lovely slipper from ZoomYummy.Com. Thank you so much for sharing 🙂

The tutorial is very clear, easy to be understood and so easy to make! For the first time, I took the challenge to crochet something that I never done yet before, this cute simple slipper! 🙂 Well.. since it’s my first time and just some trial and error, don’t ask me where is the other half :P. Because I’m so excited, I couldn’t wait to show it to you! ( Will move to second slipper insyaAllah.. soon!)

Tada!! My first slipper xD yay!! Alhamdulillah.. Oh yes, this rakuraku really feel good to be held. However, in my opinions, the clover comfort hook and rakuraku do give me the same feeling while crochet 😛 Both are comfortable and pain-relief if you are a core-crocheter. Oh and.. isn’t the yarn looks yummy?? xD This yarns was a swapped with kak Aisyah Helga. I really love this yarn so much because of the texture feel so like a fabric though the fiber was a 100% acrylic. This yarn is from ice yarns, summer rose.
