3.00 mm & 4.00 mm crochet hook
NAKO BABY LUKS MINNOS (2 colour of your choice)
White and orange yarns colour
or any DK yarns/10 ply
(Yarns available at for purchase)

2 x Buttons of your choice ( I use black colour for the eyes)
Scissor to cut
Sewing needle and thread to sew buttons
Yarn blunt needle

Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Sc2tog = single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)
Ss = slip stitch
Hdc = half double crochet
Hdc2tog = half double crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)
Sts = stitches
St = stitch

Gauge: For this pouch, gauge is not crucial. Different weight of yarns will produce different size of this pouch.

1. Always slip stitch on first chain of chain 1/2/3.
2. Marker is necessary if you need to mark your start.

Instructions (crochet- in โ€“ the round from bottom):
With colour A, Chain 4 Sts. Slip stitch to join round.

Round 1: ch 2, 12hdc in loop. Ss in first hdc. (12 stitches)

Round 2: ch2, hdc in same st, 2hdc in next 11 Sts. Ss. (24 stitches)

Round 3: ch2, hdc in same sts, hdc in next sts, *2hdc in next sts, hdc in next sts* repeat from * to * till end of round. Ss (35 Sts + ch2)

Round 4: ch2, hdc in same sts, hdc in next 2sts, *2hdc in next sts, hdc in 2next sts* repeat from * to * till end of round. Ss. (47 Sts + ch2 stitches)

Round 5 โ€“ 13: ch2, hdc in next 47 Sts. Ss. (47 Sts + ch2 stitches)

Round 14 (decrease): ch2, *, hdc in next sts, hdc2tog in next 2 sts, hdc in next sts, * repeat from * to * till end. (35 sts + ch2)
Change to colour B, join yarn B as shown in picture below:

Round 15 -20: ch2, hdc in next 35 Sts. Ss. (35 Sts + ch2)

Finishing ( here, itโ€™s an optional either you want to crochet the last row with sc or crab stitch) Photo is using crab stitch.

Last round (choose either one option) :

Opt 1: ch2, sc in every Sts. Ss. (35 Sts + ch2)

Opt 2: ch 2, crab stitch in every Sts, Ss. (35 Sts + ch2) (Slip stitch from inside – see photo below)

Make two eyes (white yarn) – Refer photo below:

With white yarn,

Ch4, join by slip stitch to make round.

Round 1: Ch2, 10 hdc in loop, ss in first hdc.

Round 2: Ch3, dc in same stitch, 2dc in next 9 sts. Ss.

Using 3.00mm hook, With orange yarn,

Row 1: Chain 6, sc in 5th chain and sc in next 4ch, ch1, turn (5 sts)
Row 2: sc in every next 5 sts, ch1, turn
Row 3: Sc2tog in next 2 sts, sc in next st, sc2tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn (3sts)
Row 4: sc in every next 3 sts, ch1, turn
Row 5: sc3tog in next sts. Cast off.

Cut yarn, weave in tidy.983673_271067803075710_5000400239654715791_nAttaching nose and eyes:

Now, using sewing needles and thread, sew button on each eyes you just made. Then sew it together on the pouch (between the colour A and B). After that, attach the nose between the eyes and sew it tightly.

Handle (Strap):
Ch6, sc in 5th chain, sc in next 4 ch, ch3, turn

Row 1: Dc in next 4 sts, ch3, turn. Repeat row 1 until your desired length. Approximately about 15-20 cm.

Attaching strap:
Attach the strap from inside using blunt yarn needle and yarn Colour B (or you can just sew on using normal sewing needles. Refer picture above.




After that, tada, done! ๐Ÿ™‚

Experimenting before publish..


Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve been experimenting my kopiah for the pass week. This is to ensure that my written instruction is correct after I found a small mistake in my writing therefore I need to re-do it again. So far, I made the correction for almost 5 times@_@! I’ll be writing again today to get the final result. Once I feel satisfied, I will publish it by tonight or tomorrow, insya Allah ๐Ÿ™‚
(NOTE: I will write two sizes, for adult and for kids. I’ll give some tips on how to reduce the size into baby size in my pattern too :)) Stay tune!

Kelas Mengait bersama Pn. Mahani J :)

Alhamdulillah.. syukur sangat-sangat pada Allah swt untuk hari ini. Terima kasih juga diucapkan kepada Puan Mahani J (orangnya sangat cantik ๐Ÿ™‚ ) di atas kesudian beliau untuk menghadiri kelas bersama Da’Knit pada hari ini untuk kali kedua ๐Ÿ™‚

Kelas mengait bersama Pn.Mahani sangat menyeronokkan ๐Ÿ™‚ kali pertama berbual dengan beliau, sudah terasa seperti kawan lama pula! Allah’im.. seronok betul! Sepanjang sesi belajar bersama, kami belajar bermula dari asas dan tak sangka terasa masa berjalan begitu cepat sekali ๐Ÿ™

Percaya tak? Dalam masa seminggu sahaja selepas kelas pertama, Pn. Mahani telah berjaya mengait baju dress yang cutee sangat ni seperti di dalam gambar di atas! Inilah hasil beliau yang pertama setelah memahirkan diri dengan asas crochet.! Wahh sangat mengujakan kan? ketika saya melihat baju ini.. Allah Allah.. saya sangat terkejut dengan hasil yang cantik sekali dengan menggunakan benang magic baby!.. Tahniah di atas hasil pertama Ani ๐Ÿ˜€ kaitan yang sangat kemas sekali. Jarang sungguh ada orang yang dapat mengait dengan begitu cepat. Tangan beliau sangat istimewa ๐Ÿ™‚ ! Bak doa orang Turkey, Ellerine Saglik ( suami saya translate – May your hand be healthy ) ๐Ÿ˜€

Betul kata seorang guru saya masa dulu.. Guru hanyalah pemberiย  tunjuk ajar dengan hanya menyumbangkan 20% usaha. Manakala 80% adalah usaha pelajar untuk cemerlang dalam setiap apa juga bidang yang diceburi. Alhamdulillah. Di mana ada kemahuan, di situ pasti ada jalannya!

Kepada Pn. Ani.. jemputlah datang selaluย  ya! ๐Ÿ˜€ sambil2 mengait boleh borak lagi sama-sama. Hihi… Terima kasih sekali lagi.. ada umur jumpa lagi.

Tips memulakan belajar mengait baju!

Kawan-kawan semua.. pernah tak terfikir nak belajar dan up level ke pattern yang lebih mencabar seperti mengait baju? Kalau ya.. teruskan membacaย  ๐Ÿ˜€

Da’Knit ingin berkongsi TIPS untuk menepis rasa gerun mencuba pattern mencabar. Banyak yang da’knit perhatikan kebiasaan ayat yang selalu diluahkan ialah:

1. Rasa susah.. tak berani nak cuba lagi…
2. Bilalah nak start belajar buat baju ni..
3. Susahnya baca instruction english..belit2 ayat dia..
4. Tak faham tengok diagram dan simbol..pening!

dan lain-lain luahan..

Da’Knit percaya setiap peminat dan penggemar mengait lebih-lebih lagi yang baru mula punya semangat yang tinggi utk belajar benda yang baru, so.. jum ambil peluang menggunakan semangat yang ada itu utk cabar diri anda mencuba pattern yang lebih umm! xD


1. Pastikan anda memahami benar-benar setiap abbreviations/istilah yang dinyatakan di dalam pattern sama ada knitting ataupun crochet. Contoh-contoh istilah/abbreviations adalah seperti Sc (single crochet), K (knit) etc…

2. Jangan segan-segan untuk bertanya kepada yang lebih arif untuk membantu, ataupun jikalau anda “confuse” dengan ayat yang ditulis, jangan lupa untuk rujuk kamus English. Sangat membantu! Ataupun jikalau anda jenis yang kurang bertanya.. rajin-rajin search kat google, ada ramai yang bertanyakan masalah yang hampir sama ketika mengait baju!

3. Simbol Jepun sangat mudah difahami jika anda hafal setiap simbol dan maksudnya. Setiap simbol itu ada cara kaitannya sendiri. Contohnya untuk SC (single crochet) simbol Jepun ialah ” x “. Jadi sebenarnya, menghafal dan memahami istilah+simbol amat membantu!

4. Ramai yang suka mulakan pattern baju dengan pattern yang banyak bunga. NOP! Jangan dulu ๐Ÿ™‚ Mulakan dengan pattern membuat baju yang banyak menggunakan SC (single crochet) ataupun DC (double crochet) untuk Jarum kait satu, manakala K (Knit) ataupun P (Purl) untuk jarum kait dua. Kerana menggunakan stitch yang asas untuk belajar kait baju membantu anda untuk memahami anatomi mengait baju dengan lebih baik.

5. Dan yang akhir! MULAKAN mengait BAJU BABY (0-3 months old) dahulu ๐Ÿ˜€ walaupun anda belum mempunyai baby yang comel (^-^) anda masih boleh belajar mengait baju menggunakan pattern baju baby. Ianya sangat membantu untuk anda memahami cara-cara asas mengait baju.
